NOTICE OF RATE INCREASE Proceeding 22AL-0305CP

Sunshine Rides has not increased rates in nearly 6 years (2016). Due to significantly increasing costs, including fuel, vehicles, parts and more, we must change our rates to maintain professional, safe and always-on availability. Sunshine Rides has applied for regulatory approval of a rate change. If approved, it will go into effect July 29, 2022. The proposed rates are:


Tazco, Inc. dba Sunshine Rides and Sunshine Taxi filed Passenger Tariff, Colorado PUC No. 8 on June 28, 2022.  Tazco, Inc. dba Sunshine Rides and Sunshine Taxi, under Certificate No. 19429, may transport passengers in charter, shuttle, sightseeing, and taxi service between points in Mesa County.

Tazco, Inc. dba Sunshine Rides and Sunshine Taxi, in Passenger Tariff, Colorado PUC No. 8, proposes to increase the fare for charter, shuttle, sightseeing, and taxi service.

The fares to be increased are:

The proposed effective date of the tariff changes is July 29, 2022, unless the Colorado Public Utilities Commission suspends the effective date of the proposed changes.

Objections to the proposed tariff changes must be made in writing and filed with the Colorado Public Utilities Commission, 1560 Broadway, Suite 250, Denver, CO 80202 or e-filed in Proceeding No. 22AL-0305TR by July 26, 2022.  If the Commission sets the matter for hearing, the filing of a written objection will not by itself allow a person to participate in the hearing.  To participate in the hearing, a party must also file a written intervention and receive leave of the Commission to intervene.  Requests to intervene as a party must comply with Commission rules.
